1945
C&B Welders Inc. was founded in by Herbert Burton, a skilled and imaginative welder whose work ethic and creativity laid the foundation for the company’s long-standing reputation. In its earliest days, the business focused on welding and fabricating water tanks, serving the post-war industrial needs of Chicago.
1985
The second generation, led by Arlan Burton, carried the company forward, preserving its reputation for quality craftsmanship while adapting to modern demands. During his tenure, C&B Welders continued to diversify its services, handling everything from industrial fabrication to artistic metalwork, all while maintaining its long-time location on Chicago’s West Side.
1998
In the late 90's the 3rd generation began to take shape as Adrian Burton and Joshua Burton joined the family business, continuing the tradition of hands-on learning and dedication to the craft, expanding their capabilities of stainless steel and aluminum fabrication.
2026
Julie Burton stepped in to lead the company, continuing the family legacy for it's third generation. Today, she combines decades of experience with modern techniques to serve their diverse cliental across the Chicago area.
